Touring St. Petersburg

The variety of tours is so wide that it might appear difficult to make the best choice. Thus we recommend for your first visit, four top excursions which include “must-see” sites and sights.

These are:

  • A city tour (with the visit to Peter-and-Paul fortress, St. Isaac’s cathedral and Spilt Blood Church), to which you can add a boat-trip on the canals with or without a guide.
  • The Hermitage museum
  • Peterhof,  Russian  Versailles
  • Tsarskoye Selo, the Amber room in the “Tsars’ Village”, another magnificent palace, about 25 km outside the city.

The minimum time you can book for a tour is 3 hours, but thereafter the duration of any tour depends upon your wishes. During the basic 3-hour tour, you can undertake several short, fascinating excursions in the city itself. However, because of their distance from the city, tours to the former royal summer residences at Tsarskoye Selo and Peterhof take more time.

Please, ask you question or write your inquiry here.
