| Dearest friends! My name is Albina. I was born in Leningrad – that’s the previous name of St. Petersburg. I’m not only a professional guide interpreter, but also a journalist on TV and radio by education. Recently I’ve started teaching English to adults. No matter, what I do - I always have passion for my work. I find exciting everything that is connected with meeting people, communication and sharing of knowledge. But especially I love showing my city to the guests of St Petersburg, which I have been doing since 2003, when I graduated from a special University course for guides. All education I have got helps me in doing my job in the best way. And since I enjoy helping people, discussing interesting issues, I’m always cheerful and optimistic - I feel, guiding is my thing. Even my hobby is connected to my job – it’s art and history. They always help me in introducing a visitor to the unique atmosphere of the City on the Neva River – our favourite St. Petersburg, Russian Amsterdam, Venice of the North. |
Hello! My name is Tatiana. I was born and raised in Hero-Сity Leningrad, USSR (it is written in my birth certificate, really!) Now I am here to show you beautiful St. Petersburg, one of the best attractions of Russia. So, I was a witness to many historical events taking place in our country. My career experience is diverse. I worked in many fields, starting as a secretary for the newspaper editorial office at the age of 17. I always loved history and arts, therefore after graduating from college I took the professional course for tour guides. What it is to be a guide?
